Ottawa Synchro

Picture
The Ottawa Synchronized Swim Club has been competing since 1969. Located centrally, at the City of Ottawa’s Brewer Pool and the Carleton University Olympic Pool, Ottawa Synchro is proud to offer a wide range of programs from the beginner to the advanced athlete.

Our members are encouraged to develop a life-long love of good sportsmanship and an appreciation of a healthy lifestyle.  We are dedicated to the pursuit of excellence.

Ottawa Synchro invites young athletes to experience the fun and excitement of synchronized swimming under the guidance of a dedicated and experienced coaching team. All participants will perform their choreographed routines at our semi-annual watershows in December and June.  Ottawa Synchro competitive teams compete at provincial level events.

Our swimming programs help to develop five core values: Teamwork, Dedication, Discipline, Respect, and Sportsmanship.

Ottawa Synchro is a member of Synchro Ontario, which oversees synchronized swimming programs in Ontario. Competitive swimmers are automatically registered with Synchro Ontario and Synchro Canada.  The administration of the club is overseen by an elected Board of Directors made up of a dedicated group of parent volunteers.

Ottawa Synchro is....

... a place where girls are encouraged to learn the basics of a beautiful and challenging sport and grow into provincially competitive athletes.
... where swimmers develop the athleticism, teamwork, grace, self confidence, healthy body image and dedication that will help them reach their potential as athletes and as young women.
