About Us
The Ottawa Synchronized Swimming Club is a non-profit, volunteer-run synchronized swimming club dedicated to providing superior training to swimmers of all ages. We offer programs for all levels of swimmers, from those interested in exploring synchronized swimming through a Recreational program or Adult Masters program, to those who wish to compete at the provincial level. We work with swimmers from 7 years to twenty years of age. Our coaches are certified through the National Coaching Certification Program.
Ottawa Synchro, formerly the Ottawa Neptunettes, has been a synchronized swim club in the city of Ottawa since 1969. The oldest synchronized swimming club in the National Capital region, it has, over the years, seen many successful swimmers compete at provincial, national and international competitions.
With attention to each swimmer's athletic and personal goals, we aim to foster a life-long love of synchronized swimming and fitness We provide a safe and secure environment in which individual swimmers can strive for personal bests. Synchronized swimming is a team sport and we promote team spirit through the involvement of all swimmers, coaches, and parents.
Ottawa Synchro is a member of Synchro Ontario, which oversees synchronized swimming programs in Ontario. Competitive swimmers are automatically registered with Synchro Ontario and Synchro Canada. The administration of the club is overseen by an elected Board of Directors made up of a dedicated group of parent volunteers.
