Awards

2010-2011 At the Gloucester Invitational meet on February 26, our swimmers got to try out their routines.  Maya Jain and Audrey Maher won third place in 13-15 duets.  Some teams earned ribbons.  Ottawa Synchro fielded five other duets who amazed us too with their improvement since the beginning of the year.  

2009-2010 In the 2009-2010 competition season, Ottawa Synchro placed tenth in the province.  We were a much younger club, as several of our senior swimmers left the club to move on to university or to focus on their final high school years.  The club participated in 4 competitions at the provincial-level including:  Gloucester LTAD Invitational, East Regional Championships, Montreal Invitational, Ontario Open Age-group Championships.   Maya Jain placed first in the province for 13-year figures.   Sofia Jain competed as a solo swimmer at the national level, and amazed us all with her performances.  Her results were astounding: she was in the top 15 for figures and top ten for solo at the Eastern Divisionals, competing against swimmers with far more hours of training each week.

2008-2009 In the 2008-2009 competition season, Ottawa Synchro placed third in the province.  We participated in 5 competitions including: East Regional Championships, Kingston Invitational, Variety Village Invitational, Tier Championships and Trillium 12 & Under Championships. Our swimmers walked away with 5 Provincial titles & trophies; 19 gold medals; 11 silver medals; 13 bronze medals and 15 ribbon placements.
