                                          Masters Program

We have two great teams in the Adult Recreational program: one for novices and masters who have been synchronized swimming for only a few years and another for those who swam in their "pre-masters" years and/or who have been synchronized swimming for many years.   If you love the water and are looking for something beyond swimming laps, synchronized swimming may be just the thing for you!
Our goal is to have fun and stay fit in a program that offers both recreational and competitive synchro training.  This program has two sessions, running from September to December, and from January to late May or early June.  Typically, we cover basics in early Fall, decide on the music for the year’s routine and start learning a routine while building on the basics.   Teams decide if they are ready to show their stuff at the December Water Show. Swimmers who return for the Winter session finish up and perfect their routine in the Winter, and swim with the rest of the Ottawa Synchro teams in the final Spring Water Show.
